Adults with disabilities camps
Adults attending a summer session do not need supervision day and night, though our counseling and nursing staff are always around to help.
Adults in residence must be able to communicate their care needs to staff and allow nurses to dispense their medication.
Our instructional swim is adaptive, and varies depending on the camper’s ability.Jacqueline Wabler, a Camp Blue Skies program leader and veteran volunteer, is the captain of the Blue Skies the Limit team.Emily Finn, Camp Blue Skies volunteer coordinator in Georgia, is helping with logistics. Then we will set up an interview to know each other and help plan a fun-filled summer and/or overnight respite experience. Camp Huntington is a co-ed, residential program for children and young adults with special learning and developmental needs.
